The Capital Area STEM Network Center and LSU’s Gordon A. Cain Center for STEM Literacy proudly hosted the 2025 VEX Robotics State Competition on February 22-23, 2025, at Patrick F. Taylor Hall on the Louisiana State University campus in collaboration with the LSU College of Engineering.
Future Use of Energy in Louisiana (FUEL) has awarded nearly $900,000 in its first round of Proof-of-Concept funding to five companies, including Baton Rouge-based CodeGig and Encore CO2, each receiving $200,000. These investments aim to support early-stage companies in advancing their clean energy technologies toward commercialization.
The LSU Gordon A. Cain Center, Capital Area STEM Network, and Louisiana Department of Education are collaborating to empower K-12 educational leaders through The Leadership Challenge™. This free virtual event, led by Dr. Leslie Blanchard on February 7, 2025, will provide participants with practical strategies and a concrete plan to navigate leadership challenges, ensuring success for initiatives like the Computer Science Educational Plan.
